In 10 hours we will drive as close as possible to the Popocatepetl volcano on Paso de Cortes at 3,200 meters (11,500 feet) to one of the highest passes in Mexico and will be only 5 miles or 8 km from its active volcanic crater and on the way we will explore a few gravel roads and enjoy beatiful nature of Mexico
